- Connection interval (ms) - set the periodicity with which the program will open new HTTP connections during Top10 and Linkage search
- SE search depth (positions) - specify the number of positions to be analyzed on every search engine during Top10 search.
- Maximum number of parallel connections - set the maximum number of HTTP connections the program will open during Top10 search
Tags Weight Settings
Here you can specify the weight of each element for search engines average rank. It is generally considered that search engines pay more attention to text, located in certain page elements, and less - to the words in other page elements. For example, the tag <title> is generally considered to be the most important and given the greatest weight when estimating page rank. Text, located at the beginning of the page is considered more important, than the text at the end of the page. Tags Weight Settings tab contains three fields: Tag, Parameter and Weight. You can modify the Weight value by clicking on the field and entering new digit value.
Ignore List
This tab provides access to the program default stop-words editing options and set the way the program should treat them.
- Ignore keywords shorter than # letters - words, shorter than the value set will be ignored when performing Top10 Analysis and Site Analysis
- Ignore keywords longer than # letters - words, longer than the value set will be ignored when performing Top10 Analysis and Site Analysis
- Use Ignore list - select this check box if you want the program to ignore stop-words when performing Top10 Analysis and Site Analysis
In the list below you can view the software default stop-words list. You can add new words to this list by entering the word into the edit line and clicking Add. To delete the word from the list select it with the mouse pointer and click Remove.

This tab allows forcing the program to include certain words into the Top10 Analysis even though they were excluded by the Ignore List. For example, if you set the program to filter out words, containing three or less letters, many potentially important for your site keywords containing three letters will be ignored (e.g. most abbreviations). To enable Accept List select Use Accept List check box. You can add, remove, import or export words much like on the Ignore List tab.
Linkage Tracking
This tab allows setting and modifying parameters for linkage check in Top10 Analyzer module.
- Search depth (positions) - set the number of positions to be analyzed on every search engine during linkage check
- Exclude link containing - enter URL or part of the URL to be ignored when found in search results. This may be for example, alias of your site.
- Select search engines for Linkage - select search engines using which the linkage check will be performed. The engines are grouped by country of location. To select an engine expand the appropriate country node and select the check box against the engine icon.
- Check site rank - if this check box is selected the program will check the rank of the linking site on Google
- Check Alexa TR - if this check box is selected the program will check the Traffic Rank of the linking site on Alexa
Note: it is not recommended to select more than 2-3 engines at a time, since the analysis may take much time depending on your Internet connection speed.
Analyzer Options
On this tab you can configure settings for Top10 and Site Analysis.
- Treat the following symbols as keywords delimiters - enter symbols which will be considered as keywords separators during site analysis, for example: <>›/|\.,"':-=+!%&?;()#_«»~@0123456789$`[]{}* etc.

- Which have density less than - select this check box and choose value to exclude words in tags that have density less than the specified value
- Which were found less than (times) - the program will exclude words that occur less than the specified number of times on the page
- Consider URLs with and without prefix "www" the same - select the way the program should treat sites found in the search results. Some sites may be tuned to produce different pages when a user requests, for example http://somesite.com and http://www.somesite.com. If this check box is selected the program will treat them the same page. If you use prefix "www" to produce different pages on your site, uncheck this check box.
Site Analyzer
This tab provides access to all major settings of the Site Analyzer module.
- Analysis depth - set the maximum number of levels of the site for spidering and analysis. For example, if the URL of the page is http://www.mysite.com/index.html, the page index.html is considered the first level page. If the address is http://www.mysite.com/docs/index.html, the page index.html belongs to the second level, and so on.
- Maximum number of links - set the maximum number of links to be spidered by the program
- Maximum number of parallel connections - set the maximum number of parallel HTTP connection the program should not override when analyzing site
- Default document - set the default page for each directory on your site. Depending on the technology used on your site, the default pages may vary - index.html, index.htm, default.asp, index.php. For example, if you are using ASP technology on your site, the default page is usually default.asp, but you can set any file as a default page on your server.

- Your hosts (specify all possible aliases of your site) - the program will identify hits from the internal pages of your site and user paths on your site by the domain name. If you have any aliases of your site, specify all of them here, otherwise visits from them will be interpreted as visits from other sites. For example, http://www.mysite.com and http://www.mysite.net may be two different domain names (aliases) for the same site, but if they are not specified in the program, they will be treated as different sites.
- Ignore IP (specify IP addresses visits from which will be ignored) - here you may specify IP addresses that should not be counted as visitors, for example internal IP addresses of your company, which may be of no interest for the statistics of your site.
- Display maximum lines in the list - set maximum number of lines to be displayed per page in the results output window of the program
- Display maximum lines in the report - set maximum lines to be displayed per page in the report.
Log parsing options

Although, for speeding up log analysis only the main, most common search engines and spiders will be recognized during the analysis. On this tab you can include or exclude engines and spiders to be recognized.
- Select search engines for log analysis - select engines to be included into log files analysis. To select an engine expand the appropriate tree node and check the search engine check box.
- Select spiders for log analysis - select spiders to be included into log file analysis. To select a spider find it in the list and select the check box against it.
On this tab you can set the Log statistics module to analyze, track and estimate the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns. To add a new advertising campaign click . The program will launch a three-step advertisement setup wizard.

- On the second step, if necessary, set the filters for campaign analysis. For example, if you conduct two various campaigns on one site, say Pay-Per-Click and Pay-Per-Impression, you may set the program to recognize them separately, creating two groups.
- On the third step set the price you pay for a visit from a partner site. Select one of the options: Cost per click or Cost per visitor and set the price depending on the type of advertising campaign you are leading.
Partner sites
On this tab you can provide information on partner sites that placed link to your site. The program will launch a wizard:
- On the first step of the wizard provide a name for the partner site group (any text that will be easy for you to remember and associate with this site) and of the partner site. You may provide several hosts, for example if the partner has several sites or several domain names for one site (mirror sites).
- On the second step configure include and/or exclude filters, if necessary. You may exclude URLs or directories, containing certain words or characters, for example the addresses of internal partner site pages, unavailable for ordinary users.

This tab allows setting the program to recognize visitors that place orders on your site. This usually concerns dynamic sites, which load certain page after a user submits a form with the order information. By recognizing how many visitors have submitted a form you will be able how many purchases were made during the analyzed period of time. To add information about visitor conversion click . The program will launch a wizard:
- On the first step provide a name for the group (any text that will be easy for you to recognize) and the address or several addresses of the conversion pages. You can create several groups if you sell several products on one site and want to get separate reports on each of them. Important: you need to provide the addresses with respect to the site root page. For example, if the full address of the conversion page is http://mysite.com/product/thanks.html, you will have to provide the following address for the page to be recognized: /product/thanks.html.
- Provide include or exclude filters, if necessary. You may exclude pages, containing information about unsuccessful form submission. For example, if the page contains parameter informing about missing information (not provided by a user in the form), you may set the program to exclude it from the report.
