Program updates are downloaded from the program support server and are available only in registered version of the program. If you click on the Updater button, the following window appears:
Click Check for Updates for the program to connect to the support server and get information on the latest updates packages. While the program is trying to establish connection the button Check for updates turns into the Abort button, clicking which you can break the operation. After the program has connected to the server, you will see the following window with the list of updates packages:
In the list window there are three fields, supplying the following information about each package:
- Name - specifies the type of the package. There are following types of updates packages in the program:
- Page Analyzer - contains updated information about search engines by which the program analyzes your web-pages and gives optimization suggestions.
- Engines - contains updated submission data for old search engine submission URLs, as well as some new search engines and FFA links.
- Local version - the version of the update package on your computer.
- Server version - the version of the update package on program support server. If the server version is newer than the version on your computer, we strongly recommend that you perform update of the given package.
If you select a package with the mouse pointer, you will see the information on the package in the Detailed description window. Below in the Local version date and Server version date windows you can view the dates of both local and server update packages. To update a package, check its checkbox and click Update. In the progress bar below you will see the update procedure progress.
Note: After performing the updates you will need to restart the program for the updates to come into effect.
