Popularity Analyzer module allows finding out factors that influence site page rank. The module contains four tabs:

Popularity Analyzer

This tab allows finding out such popularity factors like link popularity, page rank, directory presence, etc.

To start work with module enter the address of the site to be analyzed into the Web site URL field (Click Change and enter the site URL into the pop-up window). Select the services and/or directories for your site to be analyzed by. You can also compare your site's popularity factors with those of your competitors. Select Compare to other pages check box and enter the addresses of your competitors sites one by one, clicking Add after each address is entered. All the competitors addresses will be displayed in a separate list. If you want to temporarily exclude certain addresses from the analysis uncheck their check boxes. To deselect all sites click Uncheck All. To select all sites click Check All.

In the lower left window you can select services for checking site popularity. They are divided into following groups:

URL popularity

URL rank - site rank by Google (100 points maximum)

Yandex CY - Russian SE Yandex page rank

Alexa TR - Traffic Rank by Alexa

KM Index - Russian SE KM.RU page rank

Aport CY - Russian SE Aport page rank

Yahoo WR - Yahoo WebRank information

Web Directories Presence

Google Catalog/DMOZ - the program checks whether the site is present in Google or Dmoz directory (which is the same)

Yahoo Directory - the program checks whether the site is present in Yahoo directory

Zeal Directory - the program checks whether the site is present in Zeal directory

Yandex Catalog - the program checks whether the site is present in Yandex directory

Rambler Top 100 - the program checks whether the site is present in Rambler Top 100 rating

Aport Catalog - the program checks whether the site is present in Yandex directory

Other

Alexa Traffic Change - Alexa Traffic Change information

Check Site History - the program checks whether the site has been indexed by WaybackMachine

To perform popularity factors check select services you would like to use for analysis, select the sites to be analyzed and click Analyze. The analysis process can take much time depending on the Human Emulation for SE settings.

Google Dance

This tab allows retrieving information on site positions from various Google servers and datacenters. Having such information you can easily guess what positions your site will occupy in the nearest future.

To analyze positions and changes that are going to happen by a given keyword enter the keyword enter the word or phrase to be analyzed into the Keyword field, select maximum number of positions to be analyzed for each server. By default the program checks search results on three Google servers.

You can compare the search results obtained with any of the following options:

• Google API - the program allows querying Google API provided you have a valid Google Api key.
• Any of the known Google datacenters
• Servers Google.ru (Russia) and Google.com.ua (Ukraine)

To compare Google server results with any of the Google datacenters select Compare with check box and select the required datacenter from the drop-down menu.

Click Analyze to start analysis.

Google DataCenters

This tab allows getting information on the positions a site or few sites occupies by a given keyword on all known Google data centers.

Enter the keywords and keyphrases by which the site will be analyzed in the Keyword List field. Enter the address of the site to be analyzed. You can add several sites or URLs.

Set analysis options:

• By host - the program will look for any address from your site in the search results
• By URL - the program will look for the exact URL address in the search results

Select maximum number of positions to be analyzed. On reaching this position the program will stop analysis on the given server or datacenter even if your site has not been found.

Click Analyze to start analysis. All the retrieved information will be displayed in the table.

Reports

This tab contains all reports that have been generated by the module. The reports are grouped by date.
