Program Options

In program options you can set technical parameters (for example, network settings), and also visual effects (font colors and styles for reports). To open program options window, select Settings>Program Options.

Here is a brief treatment of the program options.

General

On this tab you can find general program options.

  • Check domain name on adding — If you want a new domain name to be checked automatically— choose this checkbox; As each domain is entered, the software automatically looks up their corresponding WHOIS registration records.
  • Run Scheduler on startup — Run Scheduler each time you start your operating system and work in the background;
  • Launch Scheduler as program closes — Run Scheduler after you have closed the program and work in the background;
  • Language — Choose program interface language;

HTTP proxy

Options on this tab need to be configured only if you use HTTP proxy.

Use HTTP proxy — if you are using proxy for HTTP connection, you have to configure the following HTTP proxy settings:

    • Host — proxy server name;
    • Port — proxy server port. By default its value is set to 3128;
    • Load Internet Explorer settings — if you have Internet Explorer configured for surfing the Internet, push this button to load its settings;
    • Authentication required — select this check box if your proxy server requires authorization;
      • Login — enter your username if your proxy requires it;
      • Password — enter your password if your proxy requires it;
You can load only proxy host and port information from Internet Explorer settings. You have to enter your username and password manually!

SOCKS proxy

Configure this tab only if you are using SOCKS proxy.

  • Use SOCKS for HTTP connections — select this check box if you are using SOCKS for HTTP connections;
  • Use SOCKS for WHOIS connections — select this check box if you are using SOCKS proxy for WHOIS connections; If you have selected either of these options, you have to configure the following settings:
    • SOCKS type — choose SOCKS proxy type you are using;
    • Host — SOCKS proxy server name or IP address;
    • Port — proxy server port. By default its value is set to 1080;
    • Load Internet Explorer settings — if you have Internet Explorer configured for surfing the Internet, click this button to load its settings;
    • Authentication required — select this check box if your proxy SOCKS server requires authorization;
      • Login — enter your username if your SOCKS proxy requires it;
      • Password — enter your password if your SOCKS proxy requires it;
You can only load proxy host and port from Internet Explorer settings. You have to select SOCKS type and enter your username and password manually!

SMTP

To configure e-mail reminders you need to supply the following information about the SMTP server:

  • Sender address — address of the sender of E-mail reminder (optional);
  • Sender name — name of the sender of E-mail reminders (optional);
  • SMTP server — SMTP server name or IP address;
  • Port - SMTP server port. By default this value is set to 25;
  • Authentication required — select this check box if your SMTP server requires authentication;
    • Login — enter your username if your SOCKS proxy requires;
    • Password — enter your password if your SOCKS proxy requires;

Color

On this tab you can configure color settings to highlight entries in the project according to their registration status. This was done for convenient viewing of the search results.

Reports

On this tab you can choose whether to use styles for reports on the domain names which are available for purchasing, or whose lease term is expiring. If you select Use styles for reports box, you can select one of the available styles below. You can add or edit your own styles and save them in the subfolder css in the program installation folder.This option is recommended only for advanced users.

Once you have done the changes and want to apply them, click OK. Otherwise click Cancel — Program Options window will disappear, and settings will not be changed. To return to default program settings click Default — and after confirmation dialog program configuration will be reset.

Domains

On this tab you can set top level domains that will be used when adding a new domain name to the project.

In the Favourite domain field enter the TLD that will be added if you click Add button on the Main Project Pane.

In the Primary Domains window select the TLDs which will be added if you click Add with all Primary on the Main Project Pane.

Popularity

On the Popularity tab you can select the services on which the program will check the popularity of the domain name that is being checked.

You can check the site listings on the following search engines: Google, Alexa, Web Archive and Yahoo.
